Metaphorical Biographies considers the legacy of photography in Southern Africa through practices shaped by biography, personal experience and history. The exhibition takes Santu Mofokeng's idea of the metaphoric biography as a point of departure and places a small selection of his work alongside a younger generation of photographers.
