Berman Contemporary is the Cape Town gallery of Candice Berman, whose Johannesburg gallery opened in 2013. It is built around a commitment to championing women artists, through a curated programme of exhibitions, publications, offsite projects and international art fairs.
The gallery sits in the Silo District at the V&A Waterfront, near Zeitz MOCAA and the other Silo galleries, and its focus on under-represented voices sets it apart from its neighbours.
It is a natural stop on a Waterfront gallery circuit.
