About
Mødular is a boutique underground club that opened in February 2017 in a former basement disco, and has become one of the key rooms in Cape Town's electronic music scene. It is built around forward-thinking house and techno and has grown into a multi-room space open several nights a week.
It was the first club in the city to enforce a strict no-photos policy, keeping the focus on the music and the floor, and it has hosted respected international and local artists. It sets out to be a safe space for experimentation and dancing.
